President’s Message

Greetings Sorors and Friends,

Thank you for visiting the website of the Morristown Alumnae Chapter (MAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Chartered in 1987 by 14 dynamic women, we proudly serve Hunterdon, Morris, Warren, and Sussex counties in New Jersey.

We are charged with aiding and supporting our local communities through established programs. Our Five Point Programmatic Thrust targets:

  • Economic Development
  • Educational Development
  • International Awareness and Involvement
  • Physical and Mental Health
  • Political Awareness and Involvement

Accordingly, since our chartering, we have awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships and other financial assistance to students in our service areas. We continually participate in charity and voter registration drives; we serve in soup kitchens, food pantries, and clothing closets; support wellness walks; donate money to worthy local, national, and global causes, and collaborate with like-minded organizations to implement quality programs and services to those in need.

If you would like to partner with us on initiatives and events that further our Five Point Programmatic Thrust, please contact us. We welcome the possibilities.

To all sorors in the area, we warmly extend an open invitation to join us at any of our monthly chapter meetings. We are a small chapter with a big heart, accomplishing mighty things. Come see for yourselves!

We hope you enjoy learning more about us by continuing to visit our website frequently, especially our calendar of events, reading our newsletter, The MAC-ezine, and following us on social media.

Sincerely,

Kimberly Monroe, President
